I have to say that I'm an unapologetic mind control fetishist, however there are few visual novels that really strike that particular chord where mind control is concerned. Most of the games in that genre fall into the category of someone simply brainwashing their victims into sexual servitude, but spend very little time on the actual process of mind control. The victims fall to the machinations of the villains very quickly, and it's all a sexfest from that point.
Lady doth protest too much.
As a connoisseur of the genre I value the process of mind control more than anything that comes after. To me, sex is not really a necessity in such works, but rather just a dessert, because the very act of mind control is so erotic, anything else is barely needed. That's why I love "Kissing Therapy" and its prequel "Proper Counseling" so much, as these games know exactly how to entice their audience.

Just to illustrate the point that sex is not even a necessity for erotic mind control, the game was originally released without any sex scenes, and they were only added later in an expanded "Relewded" edition.

The game is very short, clocking at just 20 minutes, but it fully uses its runtime to the advantage. It's a single scene setup where a girl Katherine visits the college counselor Rose to discuss her problems (or rather the problems everyone else is having). Apparently everyone at the college is acting weird. Katherine's friends have suddenly developed an interest in girls, and are constantly sexually molesting her. However Katherine is straight and don't want to do any of that icky "lesbo" stuff. Or is she? Rose will make sure that Katherine understands that there is nothing wrong about the girls experimenting with their sexuality and playing with each other's kitties.
Twincest is wincest!
This ties to my secondary MC fetish of gayification (and by extension, lesbification). There are few things hotter that a proper straight girl becoming a wet horny lesbian by the end of the story and renouncing boys for life. The story is completely predictable, as I have read similar plotted works before, but not in a shape of a visual novel. Despite the predictability, the execution is pretty much faultless, however the fault might lie with the shortness of the work. "Kissing Therapy" feels like a teaser - a part of a larger work to whet our appetite. And thus, after reading it, one wants more.

When talking about the game one must mention its very unusual dichromatic black and red colour scheme. The whole game is done in the shades of those two colours, and the characters themselves have slightly (but not overtly) exaggerated proportions, reminiscing of the Super Deformed style. None of those things were a turn off for me, but in fact made the game unique.
You know you want it.
I have originally played the game a long time ago, but recently re-played it, after realizing that its prequel also came with an updated version of the original game, now including the voices. I have to say that the voices were very well done, with strong performances. There are only three characters in the game, and all three actresses were pretty convincing in their roles. The only thing I have noticed - there are two or three unvoiced lines, and I'm not sure if that's a mistake, a bug or by design, but it was a bit strange.

So, to sum up, "Kissing Therapy" is a short but sweet mind control story that will leave any MC fetishist wanting for more. Moreover, the voiceless releases are completely free, so you can check it out for no personal cost.
